Decadent Dessert Cups Low Carb for a yummy dessert
Delicious single serving dessert cups that you can flavor to suit your tastes. Serving size 12
Basic Recipe
Cup Base:
chopped almonds
1 TB unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 c splenda
1 tsp instant coffee
1 TB butter
8 oz cream cheese
1 whole egg
2 TB cocoa
1/4 tsp instant coffee
2 TB cream
1 cup splenda
pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
Chop almonds finely in food processor. Add cocoa powder, splenda and instant coffee. Preheat oven to 325 . Melt butter in microwave. Coat each of your individual cups with butter and evenly spread the nut mixture on the bottom.
Blend together cream cheese, egg, cocoa, instant coffee, cream, splenda salt and vanilla. Spoon this mixture evenly in the 12 cups.
Place is a large baking pan with just enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and remove from baking dish as soon as you can handle to prevent further cooking. Set cups aside to cool
